Title says it all. I can load mp3.s in my itunes player, but I was wondering if there was any way to control playback with a footpdeal, rather than keystrokes. It's for some audio transcriptions that I do.

Not that I know of, but maybe someone else might know a way. I know you can control iTunes playback with an Apple remote but you probably already know that.

Title says it all.

Try your title in a google earch and it get lots of hits:

And a top hit looks promising if the hardware is still available and any necessary software:

I can't help thinking there should be a simple cheap way using the controller that many bluetooth EarPods/headsets use.

I'm assuming you are wanting something like foreword/backward and volume control.

I'm also thinking of something like the older Griffin "jog controller" that I can't recall its proper name right now that could be rigged up. Darn brain fart…

Try something like "Griffin-powermate-usb-media-controller".

EDIT:
"PowerMate USB"

EDIT 2:
Google searching also seems to mention this several time:
"VLC Media Player Foot Pedal"

You'll need to do some searching and I don't know what pedals they are referring to.

Anyway, an interesting project, good luck and I hope some of this info helps.
