new iMac safari google search results

When I use Safari/google, my search results appear on the left side of the screen. Is this normal or can I have google search results display to center of screen? Other websites use the full screen, this is only google results so far. This is Sierra OS.

That's normal behavior. Notice that the top bar does go the full width of your window. You are on a monitor where the resolution is at least 2K if not bigger.
