What screwdriver do I need to open screws(+)
in bottom plate of macbook pro 2,5Ghz 13" mid 2012? It seems to be a very small cross(+) tip?
I want to upgrade Ram from 2x2Gb to
2x4Gb which is the max.
Help appreciated

Go to www.ifixit.com and that will tell you what you need. They also sell the tools in a kit or separately.

Hi,
thanks for your answer. Unfortunately it did not give me what I should buy.
The problem was solved by a sales man in Maplin. It is screwdriver Ph000 (for Macbbok Pro 2009- mid 2012). Apollo Presicion Tools Pen Screwdriver with 6 different bits -
Maple Electronics U.K. order code: N16 QN, Price €1.50-
Later Models with Retina display need different tip.
I hope it might be useful.

Hi,
a screwdriver PH000 was the correct one for Macbookpro 2009-mid 2012, after that it is a
different one. Cost me €1.50.

Odd, I see it says:
Remove the following ten screws:
Three 14.4 mm Phillips #00 screws
Three 3.5 mm Phillips #00 screws
Four 3.5 mm shouldered Phillips #00 screws
https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/MacBook+Pro+13-Inch+Unibody+Mid+2012+RAM+Replacement/10374

Tools are listed in their "Tool Store" for future reference.

For Mac info and specs, I'd suggest using https://everymac.com

PS: JFYI, the PH stands for Phillips, the American inventor of the general horrible screwhead type/design, but you probably knew that or figured it out.
