will iphone folder nested albums copy to an imac via icloud and visa versa

and have icloud photo library enabled
will the folder and album structure move across to icloud
and then onto an imac with the photo app

I suspect that they (the folder structure) won't be picked up in the cloud nor moved to your iMac. However, I can't be sure of that so you should test it yourself to see what happens. The tutorial you linked to is easy to follow and should give you an idea if it's possible.

i dont have the equipment to test i'm afraid - hence the question before a major purchase

Ah, OK. Then hopefully someone who has experience will answer your question. In any event, it's not something that you can't overcome, however, it will be a lot of extra work.

I have managed to test with a icloud account and iphone - via a friend who actually is thinking of getting an iMac later in year
so the structure in photo app - folder and nested albums - comes over to the icloud.com OK
now will it move to the imac OK
