Acquisition also uses the Limewire core, just a nicer interface.

I've used Acqlite. It's probably is as fast as LimeWire's "pro" version and does five searches at once.

Boilerplate: Downloading music is legal in Canada.

I used to use Limewire, but now I use Acquisition and I love it. Limewire usually returns more results, but I find Acquitition has a much higher success rate, and faster downloads.

haha BitTorrent isn't P2P

At first LimeWire seemed better because of more search results, but AcqLite is MUCH faster... wow, it's a keeper.

When you download, renew the search even as the download continues. The search will probably find more connections. But for the download to find these new connections, you have to right-click on the download to tell file to check for more.

On really long downloads, repeating this could speed up the download by 10 times or more. The more files you find the faster it downloads.
