Hi all,

I have an early 2011 MBP 15". It's got a replacement battery inside which worked well for a while. Now the capacity has gone down drastically, or so I thought, because I was about to trash it and replace again. Before doing so, I wanted to drain the battery completely and found that the display in the menu bar dropped quite fast from 100% to 7%, then it took forever to drop even to 4%.

So it looks like the battery is perfectly (or at least quite) healthy, but the display is not correct. How can I calibrate that?

Thanks much,
stefangs

So I reset the SMC and I also followed the recalibration procedure I found in another thread here. Works again, yay!

Thanks much,
Stefan

Sounds great Stefan!:) As soon as you mentioned a replacement battery & having issues...the SMC Reset is usually something that will correct things.:)
