I bought my ibook last July and didn't purchase applecare at the time. I had planned on doing it before my year was up. It's about that time. I had gone back and forth trying to decide whether or not to get it or not.
I did a search on "applecare" and decided that I had better get it.
Especially for a laptop - since it goes everywhere with me.
I found the cheapest to be around 175.00 on the net at certain places. I went to ebay and bought one for 130.00.
I'm VERY leary about "good deals". I have been ripped off before. I hope I haven't made a bad choice!
But, I went thru paypal and put it on a credit card so I should be safe.
