I have a MBP A1287 MD101LL/A with a dented screen housing/cracked screen. I'm looking on eBay and such in search for a suitable replacement assembly. My question is what screen assemblies are compatable? Will any unibody A1287 screen work, or does it need to be specifically for the MD101LL model?

Take a look at ifixit.com and they may have a list for compatibility or some of the other macbook parts sites.

Maybe give them a try:
powerbookmedic.com:
welovemacs.com
and other I can't think of their name right now.

Yeah, I don't know if I'm just missing something but the more I look around the more confused I get...conflicting part numbers, compatibility etc...
