I think while I was on this site https://motocrossactionmag.com/ that I inadvertently agreed to letting them display little announcements at the top right hand of my screen even when I'm not on their site. And I don't see anywhere on their site how to reverse that. Can I do it by changing something in FireFox?
I just looked at FireFox preferences and I see that already I had selected to block pop-ups so this must not be a pop-up. I don't know what to call it.

Go to "System Preferences", "Notifications", and check to see if you have notifications turned on for Motocross Action Magazine. If you do, just turn them off and they should stop. Sometimes a site will ask if you want announcements or notifications to be displayed and that usually means you're going to be annoyed by them. ;)
