The other day, I went to repair permissions on my laptop as I do every week, and I got this strange message that said:

Error: No valid packages

Does anyone know what this means? Is there a way to fix it? I'd appreciate any advice anyone can give me, as I'd like to be able to repair permissions on my computer in the future.
