Will any USB-C docks be coming out with a Thunderbolt 2 adapter? Should I wait?

I'm looking into USB-C docks for my new MBP. I need to connect old Thunderbolt drives to it, and right now none of the docks have that. Ideally, before dropping that money, I'd wait till they do.

However, that could be a long time. I wonder if perhaps that capability isn't even possible in which case there is no point in waiting. Thoughts? Any point in waiting or should I get one now and just buy a Thunderbolt adapter separately?

I know that exists but I am wondering if docks might come out that have that included. It'd be nice to have one less dongle to carry around.
