yeah. I don't like it when some songs cost more than others... It would make itunes gift cards less useful, and people would probally download less songs...

i am glad that apple stood their ground because if apple said no and closed its doors to the music downloads the recording companies would just lose their money. apple basically has a stronghold on them and can make them do just about anything.
btw. i believe it is matador records (independant type music company) has something like 'super saver cd's' in which they print the price on the cd and tell the stores they cant charge more than that and request the customers to call and complain if they see higher prices on said cd's
