One of my hard drives is no longer mounting on the desktop-OSX gives me the error message that it is unrecognizable, like it needs to be formatted. I really have no idea how this happened, and I have some pretty important work on this drive. Do I have any other recourse besides going to a data recovery place? I've tried Disk Warrior and Tech Tool, with no luck. How did this happen?
