Dear Mac Forum,

I run Adobe CS6 Master Collection on iMac late 2015, with El Capitan 10.11.6.
My experience so far (since Sept 2016) is that CS6 runs very well on this OS with almost no issues (it just needed the Java legacy update to operate correctly).

I am now considering the upgrade to Mac OS Sierra.

I have 3 questions about this:

1. If I upgrade to Sierra will I need to reinstall all of my Adobe CS6 software from the original DVD install disks?

2. Has anyone here had experience with successfully running Adobe CS6 software
(e.g. Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) on OS Sierra?

3. If I have too many issues with running CS6 is there a way to revert back to El Capitan?

thank you
and best regards
L

Simple answer to your question is - make a backup before you upgrade to Sierra. Then, if any problems occur with Sierra and CS6 you can always revert back to El Capitan. Making a cloned bootable backup is the best way to do that. Take a look at "Carbon Copy Cloner" or "SuperDuper".
