I hope that you're using a MacPro. Model identifier should be Mac Pro 5,1 (2010), Mac Pro 4,1 (2009) or Mac Pro 3,1 (2008), if you're doing a Hackintosh, all bets are off.

Thanks.
I am using a Mac Pro 4,1 with 5,1 firmware.
So that web driver isn't just for Pascal?

Pascal? Are you referring to MacOS 9? Please clarify. I got the driver information from NVIDIA site, and it says Sierra supported with the models above.

Pascal is the latest Nvidia series of cards. The GTX 750 ti is a Maxwell series.

Sorry, I don't have a Mac Pro, so I guess I can't help. I just researched as much as I could. But there was no mention of Pascal or Maxwell nor any other physicist/mathematician. I bow out.

When using non-Apple approved video cards in various model Mac Pro's (1,1; 2,1; 3:1, 4:1, 5:1)...you're really getting into a territory that's a much more experimental sort of thing. And when talking the lastest & greatest (such as what's mentioned above)...the number of user's with an older Mac Pro installing the latest & greatest Windows video cards in them is very small (you may be one of the very few folks trying it).

The best thing to do is purchase the card & install it...and see if it works. If you can't get it to work...return it (of course making sure it is purchased from somewhere that it can be returned if things don't work out).

HTH,

Since starting this thread I have been told by several people with 4,1 and 5,1 Mac Pros that the GTX 750 ti works great in El Capitan and Sierra minus the boot screen. If I can decide whether El Capitan or Sierra to run Cubase on I will uno which video card of the two to get.

Thanks. I know. Thought I would post the answer for others.

Thanks. It's great to know these details. Since it's such an experimental sort of thing. Not something the popular media will be writing about...and certainly not something the video card manufacturer will state (since it's really a Windows card). Basically users helping other users.:)
