New to imovie-want to put together a movie composed of short videos received by friends sent to me via email or messaging-how many can fit? And how long can movie be?Is there limitation to number of clips or length of movie? Want to compile all these short videos (expressing birthday greetings) into one movie -can I export finished movie to a disc to present to. Birthday boy? How?

Not with the latest version of iMovie. You would have to Share/Export it as a movie file and then burn to a dvd.
