I have a handfull of .stn files from the Genuine Fractals era. Unfortunately my software evolved while thee files languished on my hard drive and now I can no longer access the photos. I'm hoping someone has access to a computer with GF or Perfect Resize v7.5 and would be willing to open several files and save them and tifs for me.

Thanks!

G'day and welcome to the forums.

Have a read of this link as it may help. With all malware and other threats, that opening them may be too big an ask Mark.

An STN file is a scaled image saved in the STiNG format. It is a resolution-independent copy of a raster image, allowing it to be scaled without loss of image quality. You can only open the STN file is through Adobe Photoshop with Perfect Resize 7.5 or earlier installed. Then you can convert it to other format while saving the image as a new one.
