i broke my x11 and gimp

I've had x11 and have been running gimp on it for about a year. I was messing around in the terminal and now gimp doesn't run. Actually, x11 doesn't run and so now gimp won't work. I tried reinstalling x11 but didn't work. I'll click my gimp icon and then I get a screen "failed to start x11: gimp.app requires Apple's X11." any suggestions?

Glad you got it working. I was about to see if I could help you figure it out. What did you do at the Terminal that broke X11? Any idea? Just curious.
