have discovered that I can edit images by clicking on markup...YEAH!
and selecting tool i desire tho still working on some of the tools offered.

but i cannot find how to select a portion of image and erasing it. I have an invoice where i scribbled all sorts of notes and now
want to erase those and enter via text option all the correct info. Can anyone suggest to me how I can do this?

i have looked on youtube for help but the options they suggest to do this is not available on my version of Preview 8.0 which I use on most recent updated Yosemite.

They also talk about how to erase the background which is an interesting idea but as of yet, do not need this feature.

any comments or suggestions?
thnx

You can't erase your scribbling, but you can cover it up. Do a Select and Copy on a part of the invoice that is clear, and then Paste and move it to cover up what you don't want.
