I recently obtained 2 G4 iMacs that used to be in a school. While the internet worked there -- on my DSL/Router at home, I cannot seem to obtain an IP address. I will admit that I am an amateur 'classic' user 
I am however pretty knowledgeable with computers and networks...
Here's what I've done so far:
Updated from system 9.1 to 9.2.1
Checked the cable -- it's good
...messed with extensions (tried base/default/etc.)
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
