My Time Capsule contains files from an older MacBook(late 2008). Now I would like to access those files on my newer(2015) model, WITHOUT actually uploading them onto the computer's hard drive. I really just want the photos. Is this possible?!
tnx,
Alex

Files stored on a Time Capsule are stored in a single package known as a "sparse bundle". I do not know of a way to individually remove files from the sparse bundle without actually using Time Machine to restore them to your computer. The sparse bundle backup file could always be used with the migration assistant to move from one machine to another. Probably not a good idea now since you already seem to have your newer Mac setup.
