Lost my USB capability on late 2011 Macbook Pro

This message was shown during restart in verbose mode after I lost the USB capability:

AppleUSBHostRequestCompleter:clearPipeStallThead: clearStall for pipe <ptr> failed (0exe00002e2) enumeration failures

Can anyone give me input on what this may involve to rectify?

Please provide more information for help with your issue. What Mac model and year? What macOS/Mac OS X/OS X version is your Mac running? And the most important question is what did you do to your Mac, before you tried to start up in Verbose mode?
