Hi Forum,

Using iMovie 10.1.2 and have an issue with inserting freeze frames.

Recorded first part of narration fine and inserted first freeze frame ok. However, adding subsequent freeze frames force the various different sections of previously recorded audio to stack one on top of the other. I then have to move each one back in to place. I have no idea why this happening and any help greatly appreciated.

How about inserting the freeze frames and then recording the narration?

Thanks MightyGem...

Many thanks for that suggestion. I tried that however, it's not always possible to know where the freeze frames will be needed. The ones inserted first would be fine but the moment one is placed with audio segments in place, iMovie stacks them. Strange glitch, as there's no audio below the freeze frame I can't work out why it does this?

Tried to replicate it, but not knowing exactly how your Project is made up, it all works for me. I can only suggest you try redoing the Project.

Hi MG,
I figured a workaround a few minutes ago...splice the clip first, then add the freezeframe.
