Please Help: Internet cards keeps freezing.

I can't seem to figure out why live card games are freezing up on me. I like to play Yahoo Hearts, cribbage and numerous poker sites. My Mac/connection has never had a problem with lag. The last ten days it has. My card games have been freezing up. The other computers in the house play the games fine. Is there something that I can do to fix this?

eh, just had a couple of games of pool and poker on yahoo and no issues...

what do you mean by freezes? Just the page freezes, or safari freezes or your computer?

In applications there is a file called java preferences- you could try fiddling around with that i.e. using a different version (osx in bundled with 5 and 1.42)
