Explain to me why sniping is better than proxy bidding.
If you only proxy bid, you give others a chance of "chipping away" at your maximum until they find out what it is and surpass it. They can keep upping their bid until it matches and then surpasses your maximum.

Sniping waits until the very last seconds to add your bid which increases your chances of winning and all but eliminates the chance for anyone to work their bids up to your max.

I snipe with a countdown widget, works great. These web-sites that do it for you are rip-offs. All they want is your information so that they can send you scam through youy E-Mail. If you are that lazy to not do it your-self, then I think you deserve the Scam and annoying E-Mails.
