iMac G5 lost sound on videos!!!

For some reason I can't get sound on any video I play on my iMac. Doesn't matter if I play quicktime, vlc, or any other app I can't get any sound. Anybody know what my problem is? I've tried to repair permissions.

Is it only videos only? do you get sound with other Apps?
