changing date and time without giving password

Hi all,

For my project i want to change the date and time and to reboot the system using commands from the terminal..I know the commands..But when try to change it is asking for password..I want to do this operations witout giving password as im doing these operation remotely.

The easiest was to do this is enable the root account and then log in as root.

As far as I know it is not possible without root pw.

I logged in an account with administrative privileges.. But still it is asking for password..After giving first time its not asking for the next few times..but randomly after sometime its asking for password.

If you are using sudo, then I believe that you have about five minutes of admin privilege after entering in the pass word, before you will need to enter the pass word again.
