Hello everyone, new user, hopefully I am in the right place.

Just ordered and got my new Mac Pro that I will use at work (premiere pro, after effects, that kind of stuff). Right out of the box the Mac is constantly restarting with Kernel errors.

Not that I think you need to know, but

2.5GHz 12-core with 30MB of L3 cache
64GB of 1866MHz DDR3 ECC
Dual AMD FirePro D500 GPUs with 3GB of GDDR5 VRAM each
El Capitan 10.11

Now what I hope it is...I am using a ridiculously old DELL monitor (Model E196FPb) while I wait for my new monitor. VGA to MDP COBOC adaptor randomly laying around the office. I truly hope this is the problem and I wont have to send this puppy back in.

Also when I boot in safe mode, I get no Kernel Panic, but the windows and programs I am using are constantly glitching (visually, white squares popping up and going away instantly) annoying but manageable for now.

Here is the Kernel Error report, Hopefully you guys can give me some insight. Thanks!

Welcome to the forums.

Remove everything that you added to the Pro and re-seat all the memory modules. The monitor should not cause a KP to occur. In other words, strip out what you have attached to the Pro and run it stock and at the same time re-seat the memory modules. Let's see if that cures the KP's.

No luck after reseating all the RAM. Any other thoughts? Otherwise I guess I'll just take it into the Apple store.

EDIT:
Ooppps, I re-read your post and missed that you had done that already, but a bit odd on the results if nothing was added. And it seems a bit odd that an adapter would cause a Kernel Panic… but I guess almost anything is possible…

Try booting up using Safe Boot Mode and see if things improve, but I wouldn't hold my breath if you haven't even added any software.
(Press & Hold shift key when you hear the boot sound and until you see the spinning grey gear, then you can let go.)

Brand new? Take it back and demand another!

However think it could well be the monitor and adapter.

Did your restart issue got resolved

You had 2696 v2 while officially 2697 v2 is supported and that may be the issue. Hope it got fixed in OS X Sierra
