.You seriously do not know? When you install SL you have to enter in all your info…
Sure I know, for the use with my Macs Dennis, and including all those I have that can run SL 10.6.8, but my question was regarding what you considered YOUR "Apple account info". Or what you think Apple considers it to be.
I just wanted to check, but I really wonder how Apple would have you blacklisted somehow as the "person at Apple Admitted" to you.
It seems to me a quick install of Little Snitchapp would be easy enough to do and configure.
That alone should be enough to call their bluff and call it B.S. if it were true, I'd think and say to what they said. And you must be in the inner Apple circles to be told by any Apple employee "to KEEP QUIET". Otherwise that just seems to be a bit too much and hard to swallow, at least for me… sorry.
EDIT:
PS: Just thought I'd add that one MBPro I have running SL 10.6.8 has one admin user whose name is "tester".
No address, email or any other "Apple account info". So Apple doesn't seem to need anything else for it to work.
