"Disk burner or software not found"

i tried making a copy of my spacelab cd today after ripping Natural Born Killers to my hard drive and iTunes gave me the error "Disk burner or software not found". this was fixed by a quick restart of itunes.

what could cause this?

Hmm it's weird. Seems like iTunes either didn't load it's CD bruning module, the software component for that task. Or it couldn't find your cd drive because it might have been in use or "dead" in the sense that in that moment the siystem had a glitch and didn't recognize it.

maybe it still thought that MTR was still using it? even though it was closed and not being used for like 10 minutes
