I'm now convinced that a lot of my problem is associated with my iPhones age.

A while ago I installed Apps for MS Word and MS Excel. They worked fine and still do but they recently stopped updating. Having checked the MS website I find that neither of the Apps are now designed for less than iOS 8 and I'm iOS 7.1.2.

Definitely need a new phone.

Edit:- Just tried to update MS OneDrive and failed so I thought I would remove it and install the latest version. Uh oh! Message stated that the latest version of OneDrive will not work on my iPhone and offered me a download of an older version. Thought I would change to iCloud Drive instead. Uh oh again it needs iOS 8 or later!
