Is it possible to transfer iOS compatible files from my iMac to my iPad wirelessly?

Currently own several Mac laptops and desktops, iPod Touch, and iPad.
The only way to transfer iOS data to your iPad is using iTunes with your device connected to the computer or you can do it wirelessly with the device connected to a charger or to a USB port on the computer.

Yes, it's possible by syncing with iTunes. I do it all the time for both of our iPhones and iPad. I always download all iOS apps and updates to my Mac first and then sync them as it's faster that way. It also provides you with another benefit - a backup of your apps without having to rely on iCloud or recovery.
