Boot Camp Problems - Startup NO HD!?

okay heres the go... i need ALL the help i can get!!!

i attemped to use boot camp to install XP on my intel duo.

went horribly wrong, it didnt install nothing.

and my MAIN "Macintosh HD" was formatted, now when i go boot from OS X install CD 1, it cant find my HD.

i tried to mount another one, but when i did that and tried to install OS X on there, it said "unable to install on this drive" and it had the usual red "!" under it.

would somebody please help me!

i dont know what to do!!

it would be greatly apprecaited!

well you said disk 1. Can not be multi-disk install. Only one disk.


While we are on the subject. I have a new Intel Imac and want to put boot camp on but all i have is Windows XP Home with service pack 1a. I heard you need service pack 2. IS there any way to update the disk? :confused:

buy windows xp. LETS STICK TO THE TOPIC!

how can i get around the multi disk install? how can i create a new HD to be able to install OS X on it?

once again, help of any kind would be great!

to get around mutli-disk install you have to buy a new windows xp disk.

i think he ment, when he went to try to install OS X, because you do need the 2 DVD's that came witht the imac. i have installed windows successfully on my 20" iMac and it works like a charm! great screen. I also have 60GB for the windows partion.
