I know I can completely turn off inertia scrolling for my Magic Mouse, but sometimes it frustratingly gets a little over-enthusiastic and keeps going way beyond the point that I want to get to. Is there any way I can halt it mid-flow?

Touch the trackpad. This will stop the scroll.

Don't have a trackpad. Touching mouse has no effect. Anything else?

On my magic mouse touching it does stop the inertial scroll. You may have a setting set to block that somehow.

Good deal. Sounds like the Magic Mouse functions similarly to a laptop trackpad or Magic Trackpad.:)
