I logged into this forum, composed a long post, was told that it was auto-saved, uploaded a screen-shot and pressed "Preview Post" but I did not see a preview; instead I was invited to log in. I logged in again but now I can find no trace of my post and the "Restore Auto-Saved Content" button has no effect and I can find no information about the auto-save facility in this forum.

The screen-shot is saved in my settings.

Where is my content that was auto-saved?

This may not be the best area for this post but it seemed more appropriate than News and Community Announcements.

Once you log out (or were accidentally logged out and had to log in again) your post was lost. The auto save feature works as it should but you have to remain logged in. The only way around that with a long post is to save it to your clipboard so that you can paste it back in case you logged out and back in again.
