I'm currently out of town, could I have a trustworthy friend go to the apple store with my apple product, have him call me, and let me read off case #'s and serial nos and stuff like that? Is that acceptable, do you think? Because I would love to have this all taken care of before I get back, so i have no more computer downtime on one machine.

My bud screwed up today when he took it to the store, he was speechless when they asked what the problem was. But, I called up Apple Store and took care of it, so when I get back from vacation, my Mac should be close to (if not) ready to be picked up. Yey, little to no down time for me :)
