My apologies if this is in the wrong forum area.
I use a 4GB AirPort Time Capsule hooked to the cable modem as a router and storage device between three different Macs in the house. An iMac and two new MacBook Pros.
On the Macs I have either Windows 7 or Windows 8. The ONLY reason I use Windows 7/8 is for Quicken. The windows version is very good but the Mac version is garbage, IMO.
I back up my Quicken data (windows) on a one gig SeaGate portable external drive. It's OK, but a pain hooking it up to the three machines. So . . . . . . .
The question is: can the windows Quicken file be backed up to the Airport Time Capsule and then accessed by one/both of the other machines?
When I'm in either version of windows it doesn't "see" the Time Capsule.
Is there something I can do so data files can be saved to the Time Capsule, and then downloaded to a different machine?
I don't think so, but I'm open to ideas.
