Just a heads up, the 10.11.3 update was released today to the public. I just updated my 27" iMac and moving on to the MBP.

So far no issues here! I am waiting for the complaints. :D

I have been testing 10.11.4 for 2 days now. Got to mess with it some more and see if I can find anything wrong.

Okay - I will complain!!! Why can't updates be like downloading a new version of OS X where a file is created and if you want to keep it you can duplicate it and move it to another location? Let me clarify. Remember my horribly slow internet connection? And I have five macs to update? It would be nice to only have to download the update once..... O:) ;D

But so far two are updated and doing fine as far as I can tell...

I bet there is a way to do just that. Let me see what I can find. Up till recently I had SNAIL slow DSL at 1.33Mbps so I can feel your pain. I will post back if I can find a way.

That would be great. Right now the update takes an hour to download. I did try to find where it is going but no luck so far.

Got OS X 10.11.3 update installed mid afternoon. I try and keep the OS X updated after a time it comes out. I guess I am lucky to, that my wireless ATT U-verse is somewhat speedy. It is all about MAC OS X for me.

My brain is not working today for some reason. All you have to do is download the 10.11.3 Combo updater. Put it on a flash drive and update the rest of your machines without a download.

Nick beat me to the URL! :D Grin

Dennis beat me to it. The combo updater + a USB thumb drive is the way to go for multiple upgrades on a slow connection.

According to the release notes, there's nothing in 10.11.3 other than bug fixes and security updates, so should be very smooth indeed. I have to go home first before I can do it.

The iOS 9.2.1 update, also out today, is essentially the same thing: no new features or notable changes, just fixes.

Yes but it is a larger file because it has all the updates since the original release of OS X.11. I did that with 10.11.2. I was just looking for the 10.11.3 only update which is 661 MB versus the combo update is 1.47 GB.

Thanks for looking - you guys are wonderful! :*
