Hi guys.
Has anyone had this problem with their 2009 MacPro?
Whenever the system goes to sleep the internal superdrive is not recognized by the system and can't be used until it is restarted.
I just purchased a replacement drive and I still have the issue. I checked the cables and it is secure.
Any ideas of what could be causing this issue?

I have the same model Mac Pro 2009 currently running 10.11.2. Anyway, I have only had one time that I had to restart my MP to get the drive to open and work and I might have accidentally unmounted it. But normally it has be fine.

I almost sounds like when it goes to sleep it powers off the drive but does not wake it up when you wake up the MP. Is this recent? What version of OS X are you running? Any recent hardware upgrades?
