I am setting up KeyChain and a window popped up, fmfd wants to use the "logon" keyChain. There is a window to enter my KeyChain Password. Does anyone know what this means, the fmfd request?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hi Waltmoe

A big welcome to the Forums.

Those with much greater experience than I will chime in; but in the meantime, fmfd stands for "Find My Friends Daemon". This is a process by which you can find the location of family or friends; the daemon part means it runs in the background. If you have no interest in this app, forget it.

Until you hear from my more learned colleagues, don't allow access to Keychain.

That's the limit of my help. Others will add their bit.
