can you convert from 10.4 DVD's --> CD's

just want to know how to do it ? i know apple will send/swap out DVD's for CD's for a small price but if anyone can tell if it can be done and how to do it please let me know thanks. cheers.

Your challenge is to make a bootable CD. Next is to tell the installer the data is coming from multiple CDs.

thanks couldn't find anything information on how to do this. so just better to install from a DVD instead.
