Better Video Quality on my Mac?

How can I have DVD video play at its top image quality. By itself, the DVD quality is good, but not perfect, so how can I make it better? Do I need to download something?

Same thing for iTunes. I put it on full-screen mode and it looks like it has a lower resolution! How can I fix this?

A few people also have seen or mentioned this problem on these forums. I read a post once that said tune your resolution down. It makes little difference there is so much noise. I wish I knew how to get dvd quality.

A better quality monitor and/or Video card may do the trick....
