Almost everyone must love reading things on the net but don't have the time to solely dedicate full attention to reading them. When l had voice aloud app, l would be doing other things, perhaps cleaning car, house, etc and listen. On iphones not possible except most rudimental.eg copy and paste articles into an app and highlighting whole thing, and "Speak".

Android have read aloud app, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.noinnion.android.voicereading&hl=en
it lets u store texts you find interesting, and it allows you to put them in folders, AND it reads the next stored text in folder as it finishes one text. it also allows repeat.

Can't this be available on IOS??!

As much as you have been complaining about what your iPhone can't do, why not sell it and get yourself another Android? :Mischievous:

l am so surprised that IOS don't have this, please don't take it personally. It is a fantastic phone that holds it's value unlike any android, but these 'basic' features don't seem available :( if they were l'd happily upgrade to the iphone 6s, but as things stand, l will likely go for android and accept the comparatively big depreciation in value as l am one who values those features.

l myself am surprised, l tried about half a dozen of text to voice, and they don't have anything nearing voice aloud for the android.
regards to highlighting, just try it with one of the browsers, l use safari and chrome, to highlight all the text in the page, you can't just do it in couple of clicks, you have to drag the highlight, sometimes, it allows you to select the whole text so you can have it "speak", by highlighting text at or near the top and dragging it up, so all highlights, even if it reads back that one page you have to manually repeat the process to play back another page, l'd like to do it all and have it read back. why developers of apps don't do that ?! l want to stay with iphone. *frustrated*
