Re-format iMac

Having replaced my 5 year old iMac with a new one I want to sell it. How do I re-format it to ensure that none of my passwords are accessible to the next owner? Are there any other things I should do to it?

You do still have the original install DVD< USe that and include it with the advertisement. brings extra.
