Hi guys.

I just ordered a new 13inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display. As per a few suggestions I saw online, I ordered it with the minimal RAM and SSD space and I will personally upgrade the RAM and SSD since they cost cheaper when bought separately (from amazon for example). My question now is the following:

I found 2 RAM models on amazon, does anyone know if they are compatible, and which is better?

I also found 2 potential SSDs, I'm also wondering which is better and if they are compatible?

I appreciate any feedback!

Ohh Dear. The 13" 2015 model comes with onboard memory, no memory slots, in either the 8GB or16GB format and no upgrading.

Regarding the SSD I would suggest the Crucial but consider a 512GB drive which is only $75 more and will overcome the lower memory problem.. 256GB is not very much at all.

Didn't you read the nomenclature and spec for that 13" rMBP? That machine is non-upgradeable since the memory is soldered to the logic board and the special PCI SSD is likewise non upgradeable. If you can, cancel the order and order one with maximum memory and SSD that you can afford.
