New Monitor for old Mac Mini

I have a mac mini that I got in 2008 and although it is old, it serves it's purpose and I would like to get a new monitor to replace one that just failed. Is it possible to find a monitor for this old mini? What issues do I need to be aware of in buying a new monitor for it? Thanks!

Can you give us a little more information about this machine? If we kn ow exactly which machine this is we can give you a better idea what monitor options exist.

Any monitor that can connect to that machine should work fine. Obviously, you're buying for an eight year old machine, don't put much money into anything unless you plan on using it with your next computer.
