How can I remap keys? (Specifically Alt and Command)

I use a Microsoft Natural 4000 and really don't care for the Apple keyboards, except on my laptop.

On my laptop, the bottom left keys are (left to right) Control, Option (alt), and Command.

On my Microsoft Natural 4000, bottom left keys are (left to right) Control, Windows Button that works as Command, and Alt (Option).

My fingers are getting tripped up because Option and Command are switched.

Is there a way I can change the Microsoft Natural 4000 keyboard map (perhaps not the right term) in OSX so that it interprets the keys as Control, Option, Command (same as my laptop)?

Yes. You do that in System Preferences > Keyboard > Modifier Keys
