I have a Macbook Pro (2011) running Yosemite. Only my Safari browser seems to be affected by incessant 'Ad Choices' ads splattered all over browsed pages: in today's case a British newspaper.

Is there any simple method of removing this nasty pest? Thank you.

On every browser, you should be running the Adblock Plus, Flashblock and Ghostery extensions to kill all of these things..

If you're using a browser that is supported by uBlock, you may want to look into that as a substitute for AdBlock Plus. From what I've read, uBlock is much lighter on the memory usage.
