Install DVD needed for OS 10.4.7

My sister gave me her old Mac without the install DVD and has since died. Disk can not be found by here computer inept husband. Can I get someone to burn a copy please. If I can get the copy I can repair my hard drive and then load later software versions, the unit is 9 years old but was flawless till just lately.

No one is going to burn a copy of Tiger for you since that would be illegal. You can find a retail copy of Tiger (OS X 10.4.X) on eBay or Craig's List. You will need the retail version not a machine specific version. The retail version is black while the machine specific one is gray-silver.
