iBook G4 Superdrive

Hello all!

I have a brand new iBook G4 with a SuperDrive and I am concerned that the drive is not working well... When a disc is being used in the drive (burning, watching a DVD, installing something...) there is a repetitave clicking - almost a rattle - for a couple of seconds, then it goes away for a couple of seconds, then it comes back... any ideas?

Your Mac's Specs
ibook G4, 1.5gb RAM, 40gb HDD
I have combo drive and it's loud as ****. I don't think apple put superior drives into their ibook models.
